• Application Form duly filled in and signed by the applicant.
• One recent Passport size photograph in colour with white background (3.5cm by 4.5cm). Please do not staple the photographs to the Application Form.
• Passport/Travel document must 
• Be valid for at least 3 months beyond the intended stay.
• Be issued within the previous 10 years and not valid for more than 10 years.

• Overseas Travel Medical Insurance valid for all Schengen countries. The insurance must cover the applicant for at least 30,000 Euros (or equivalent) all risks (accident, illness, medical emergency, evacuation, etc). The policy must clearly specify the period of validity and must cover the entire duration of the trip including the date of arrival and departure. The Insurance may only be purchased from one of 16 Schengen recognized Insurance Companies in India.
• Confirmed Travel Itinerary with travel dates (with return flights for courses less than 91 days) OR issued E-ticket. Once the Visa is approved, a confirmed return flight ticket may be requested prior to Visa being issued.
• Proof of Accommodation: Confirmed Hotel Booking Or ‘Declaration of Proof’ completely filled in, signed by the host accompanied by photocopy of host’s ID Card or Passport. Both in original and witnessed by (Local) Legal Professional.
• Cover letter (account of the purpose of the visit).
• Proof of Sufficient Funds to cover all expenses during the entire period of travel.
• Income Tax Returns (ITR-V or Form 16) for the last two years.

For Minors:

• Signature of both Parents on all pages of the application.
• Notarized ‘No Objection Certificate’ by both parents or by the parent not travelling with the minor.
• Adhaar Card (along with a photocopy).

Documentation providing the Economic Status of the sending and receiving company/institution/individual:

Copy of Registration Certificate.

Bank Statements for the last 3 months.

ITR accompanied by the CPC acknowledgement (verified) for the last 3 years.

Invitation Letter  from the inviting company mentioning the purpose of the visit including the complete business program with planned visits and/or meetings to attend; particulars and professional status of the applicant/s; purpose of visit and dates of visit.

Covering letter on a business letterhead (original) from the Indian company stating your position, the length of your service and explaining the purpose of your visit: details regarding activities and business relations with the company.

Individual’s Proof of Sufficient Funds to cover all expenses during your stay such as:

Letter from the inviting/employing company (original).

Company bank statements, including the name and signature of the bank branch manager, of the last three months if the inviting/employing company pays for the cost of travelling.

Salary slips + status of personal bank account for the last three months in letter from your bank, including the name and signature of the bank branch manager(original) if the cost of travelling is paid by yourself.

Letter from your bank (original) stating credit limit on your credit card.

Income Tax return for at least 2 years (Proof of paid income tax).

Processing

The Embassy and the Consulate take 4 working days on average to process visas from the time of receipt of correct and complete application. However, the Embassy and the Consulate can take up to 15 days to assess an application and, in exceptional cases, up to 45 days

All submitted documents must be current and complete (in English). The incomplete documents submitted for the visa application may cause the application to be rejected. The Consulate General has the right to request additional documents when it deems necessary. Presenting of the above documents does not guarantee that the visa will be granted. The Consulate General reserves the right to refuse application without any explanation. There is no refund possibility in any circumstances.
