Tourist Visa

  1. Passport, (valid for at least 30 days after the intended stay/departure date from South Africa; at least Two unused/blank visa pages)
  2. Fully completed visa application form – 11 (DHA-84) – must be completed in black ink and block letters.
  3. Application form-11 (DHA-84) must be signed by the applicant and signature should match the signature on the passport.
  4. FOR MINOR APPLICANTS (BELOW 18) - In application form parents need to sign instead of minor applicant.
  5. Proof of funds (Last 03 month’s bank statement signed and stamped by the bank with a balance South African Currency R 3000 or equivalent in INR for Delhi and Mumbai) Required original Indian bank statement on bank letterhead with stamp and signature and no Passbook, e-statements, Net banking copies will be accepted
  6. South African Bank Statement has to stamp & signed by SA POLICE as well as SA BANK.
  7. Proof of hotel booking, (verifiable) stating the name, passport number of applicant(s) and duration of visit, physical address, as well as contact details of the hotel as well as authorized signature’s name, designation and signature.
    Please note hotel bookings must be booked online or booked by South African host with stamp from south African hotel/company/ or travel agency.
  8. NOC for leave from employer/ school/ university clearly mentioning the name, passport number of applicant(s) and duration of visit. Letter must have the physical address, as well as contact details of authorized signature’s name, designation and signature.
  9. A day-to-day itinerary/travel plan covering your stay in South Africa.

  11. Valid flight ticket OR proof of reservation.
  12. Two recent (not older than 30 days/1 month) passport size, (35mm x 45mm of the picture) photographs
  13. Marriage certificate, where applicable (For verification purpose applicant needs to carry the Original Marriage Certificate at the time of submission at VFS center)
  14. Copies of passport bio-data pages (photo page and address/parents page (INDIAN PASSPORTS)
  15. Original covering letter signed by the applicant stating the name, passport number of applicant(s) and duration of visit. Letter must have the physical address, as well as contact details of authorized signature’s name, designation and signature (should clearly mention who will bear the expenses of the trip)

  17. Affidavit less than 3 months old as part of the application. Originals should be kept for their records while travelling Minors who apply for a South African visa at VFS service-point shall be required to submit the attested copy of Parental Consent to South Africa.
  18. If unabridged birth certificate is in local language than English translation affidavit must be produce along with local language unabridged birth certificate.

Business Visa

Applicant needs to provide bank statement of the person who will bear the expenses of the traveler and the covering / invitation letter should clearly mention the same, if the bank statement is from South Africa in that case stamp & signature from SA bank and SA police would require or if bank statement is from India, then Indian Bank stamp & signature would be required.
  8. Incase Indian company is bearing the cost of the traveler in that case we would need company bank statement with bank stamp and signature. or if South African company is taking the responsibility of the traveller in that case south African company bank statement would be required with SA Police & SA Bank stamp and signature.
  9. Letter of invitation from the South African organizers/hosts/companies stating the name, passport number of applicant as well as purpose and duration of visit. Letter must have the physical address, as well as contact details of the host and host’s/authorized signature’s name, designation and signature (Host ID copy attested by commissioner of OATHS needs to be submitted if required by SAHC).
  10. Reference/introduction letter from Indian employer stating the name, passport number of applicant as well as purpose and duration of visit. Letter must have the physical address, as well as contact details of applicant & authorized signature’s name, designation and signature.
  11. Required original Indian bank statement on bank letterhead paper with stamp and signature and NO Passbook, NO e-statements, NO Net banking copies will be accepted.

Processing
