Tourist Visa

  • Print out the filled visa form and sign.
  • Online filled visa form with signature.
  • Visa request letter with purpose and intended duration of stay.
  • Detailed day to day itinerary.
  • Confirmed round trip ticket and confirmed hotel booking reference.
  • NOC letter from the employer, and from the parents if the applicant is under 18yrs of age.
  • 2 passport size photos 3.5x4.5cm, white background, showing 60% face.
  • Passport original (valid more than 6 months) and photocopy.
  • Personal financial proof.
  • Form 16 or ITR for 1 year.
  • Personal salary account statement for 3 months with bank stamp.
  • Other documents related to the tour for those attending a conference: invitation and for exhibition: Exhibition registration.

Processing

  • Regular service: 4 working days, Express service: 2 working days. During long holiday seasons, due to the drastic increase of visa applications, the processing time is subject to adjustment and might take longer time.

Business Visa

  • Online filled visa form with signature.
  • Taiwan inviter’s invitation. (Stating the purpose and applicant’s name and other details).
  • Company cover letter mentioning purpose of visit, designation of the visitor, and the intended duration of stay (if applicants require multiple-entry visa, tentative traveling date should be mentioned).
  • Company’s registration certificate copy issued by the government (No GST).
  • Company’s bank statement for 3 months with original bank stamp and ITR for 1 year.
  • Proof of Transaction, e.g., LC/remittance receipts/business correspondence between trading parties, if any.
  • Applicant’s personal salary account statement for 3 months with original bank stamp.
  • Applicant’s ITR or Form 16 for 1 year (either one of the documents).
  • 2 passport size photos 3.5x4.5cm, white background, showing 60% face.
  • Passport original (valid more than 6 months) and photocopy.
  • Confirm round trip ticket and hotel booking reference
  • INVITER'S PERSONAL ID, TAIWAN COMPANY'S REGISTRATION AND "Letter of Guarantee for Visa Application" ARE NOT REQUIRED FOR INDIAN PASSPORT HOLDERS.

Processing

All submitted documents must be current and complete (in English). The incomplete documents submitted for the visa application may cause the application to be rejected. The Consulate General has the right to request additional documents when it deems necessary. Presenting of the above documents does not guarantee that the visa will be granted. The Consulate General reserves the right to refuse application without any explanation. There is no refund possibility in any circumstances.
