Ukraine Immigration Visa Solutions

Ukraine is a large country in Eastern Europe known for its Orthodox churches, Black Sea coastline and forested mountains. Its capital, Kiev, features the gold-domed St. Sophia's Cathedral, with 11th-century mosaics and frescoes. Overlooking the Dnieper River is the Kiev Pechersk Lavra monastery complex, a Christian pilgrimage site housing Scythian tomb relics and catacombs containing mummified Orthodox monks.

Tourist Visa

  • Signed Visa Application form.
  • Travel insurance is mandatory for all Schengen countries.
  • Applicant’s valid passport/travel document.
  • Applicant’s Photo (35 * 45 mm).
  • Residence Documents: Valid residence permits/equivalents (in cases where applicants reside in a country that is different from the country of their nationality/citizenship.
  • Proof that the applicant is a holder of (or is entitled to benefit from) a valid medical/travel insurance policy to cover Ukraine and the period of stay (the policy should provide a minimum of €30 000 or equivalent coverage).
  • Proof of Sufficient Funds:
    • Original 03 months updated Bank statements with original Bank stamp and Sign with minimum balance of USD 2500.
    • Cash in Ukrainian hryvnia/other convertible currency.
    • Bank cards along with current/savings account balance statements provided the bank cards can be cashed in Ukraine.
  • Hotel/accommodation booking.
  • Letter from the applicant’s employer/sponsor confirming their coverage of applicant’s expenses in Ukraine, a return/transit ticket etc).
  • Duly Notarized Sponsorship Letter with Original Stamp and Sign Proof that the applicant’s main purpose of journey to Ukraine is tourism (hotel/accommodation booking(s) with complete details of applicants, programme of stay, information on the tour(s) and the tour(s’) time frames, tourist agency details, transfer details, sightseeing information etc.).
  • Copy of Travel Tickets bookings as per mentioned on Visa Application Form mentioning Name and Surname of the Applicant’s

Processing

  • Usually decision on a visa application is made within a period of 10-30 calendar days excluding day of submission. It is advised to submit visa application at least 30 calendar days before the intended visit. A visa application cannot be submitted earlier than three months before the intended date of travel.

Transit Visa

  • Signed Visa Application form.
  • Travel insurance is mandatory for all Schengen countries.
  • Applicant’s valid passport/travel document.
  • Applicant’s Photo (35 * 45 mm).
  • Residence Documents: Valid residence permits/equivalents (in cases where applicants reside in a country that is different from the country of their nationality/citizenship.
  • Proof that the applicant is a holder of (or is entitled to benefit from) a valid medical/travel insurance policy to cover Ukraine and the period of stay (the policy should provide a minimum of €30 000 or equivalent coverage).
  • Proof of Sufficient Funds:
    • Original 03 months updated Bank statements with original Bank stamp and Sign with minimum balance of USD 2500.
    • Cash in Ukrainian hryvnia/other convertible currency.
    • Bank cards along with current/savings account balance statements provided the bank cards can be cashed in Ukraine.
  • One of the following:
    • Visa for another country (if required) and tickets.
      Document(s) confirming that passengers/cargo are to transit through Ukraine by car/coach.
      • International carrier license issued by the relevant authority of a foreign state.

Processing

  • Usually decision on a visa application is made within a period of 10-30 calendar days excluding day of submission. It is advised to submit visa application at least 30 calendar days before the intended visit. A visa application cannot be submitted earlier than three months before the intended date of travel.

Business Visa

  • Signed Visa Application Form.
  • Travel Insurance is mandatory for all Schengen countries.
  • Applicant’s photo (35 * 45 mm).
  • Passport photocopies with photocopy of previous (Ukraine, USA, UK, Schengen and Australia) Visa.
  • Residence Documents – Valid residence permits/equivalents (in cases where applicants reside in a country that is different from the country of their nationality/citizenship).
  • Proof that the applicant is a holder of (or is entitled to benefit from) a valid medical/travel insurance policy to cover Ukraine and the period of stay (the policy should provide a minimum of €30 000 or equivalent coverage).
  • Proof of sufficient funds:
    • Original 03 months updated Bank statements with original Bank stamp and Sign with minimum balance of USD 2500.
    • Cash in Ukrainian hryvnia/other convertible currency.
    • Bank cards along with current/savings account balance statements provided the bank cards can be cashed in Ukraine
  • Hotel/accommodation booking, letter from the applicant’s employer/sponsor confirming their coverage of applicant’s expenses in Ukraine, a return/transit ticket etc).
  • Duly Notarized Sponsorship Letter with Original Stamp and Sign.
  • Original Invitation letter in Ukrainian language from an entity/company/organisation registered in Ukraine, presented on the official letterhead, with indication of the entity/company/organisation’s number according to Ukraine’s Unified State Registry of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs and Citizens’ Associations, registration number, date and signature, full name of the invited person, information about his/her date and place of birth, nationality, passport details, place of residence, purpose of visit, duration of intended visit to Ukraine, number of entries and place of stay in Ukraine, legal person’s obligations towards possible costs related to the invited person’s stay and/or departure from Ukraine, Must mention the travel dates.
  • Original Invitation letter in Ukrainian language must be supported by Ukrainian Government issued Company registration certificate.

All submitted documents must be current and complete (in English). The incomplete documents submitted for the visa application may cause the application to be rejected. The Consulate General has the right to request additional documents when it deems necessary. Presenting of the above documents does not guarantee that the visa will be granted. The Consulate General reserves the right to refuse application without any explanation. There is no refund possibility in any circumstances.
